LEVEL 2 - INTERMEDIATE
KITE CAMP (IKO) - INTERMEDIATE
INTERMEDIATE LEVEL COURSES IN LANZAROTE.
This course is for all those that have completed a beginners course and for some reason don't practice regularly or feel in need of more lessons... so you feel safeer kiting on your own...
This level is for those that fully completed all the steps of IKO level 1 or are presently doing IKO Level 2.
This course covers all the exercises from "body drag" onwards... It's fundamental that you know how to water start and have completed all the beach exercises, having absolute control over the kite.
KITE CAMP - INTERMEDIATE LEVEL INCLUDED:
- Kite courses - 3 h/day with all equipment included - Kite, Harness, Vests, Helmets, Radios, Kiteboards
- Certified instructors (FKI - IKO)

LEVEL 3 – ADVANCED KITERS
KITESURF CAMP (IKO) - ADVANCED
This course is for all free riders that have their own equipment and do their own water-starts, but don't ride that regularly or still want some training ...
In this course you'll improve:
- ody position
- constant power control with the kite & kite movement on both parts of the wind window techniques
- Edging control. Methods to increase or decrease the power by edging
- switch of direction withouth loosing the power
- And first jumps...
This course is for those that completed all steps of levels 1 and 2 of IKO
"In order to enroll in this course is pre-requisit to know how to water-start, water rescue technics, absolute control on breaking and self autonomy to deal with the kite and board, in and out of the water."

Please note: It is important to know that if the wind conditions were unfavorable during your stay in Lanzarote and you did not want to do any other activities (surfing, windsurfing, diving, or hiking), Calimasurf promises to return the total amount paid for the contracted hours of kite surfing that you were NOT able to use.

If you wish to combine your holidays with a kite course or do the complete kite course with FKI certification we have designed several packages for you.
Our Academy are in "Caleta de Famara" (inside Famara Natural reserve) away from mass tourism and 100m from the beautifull beach of Famara (6km of fine sand). You can enjoy a great surfing holiday in confort, surfing and kiting in the crystal warm waters of Lanzarote.
The Kite lessons are given in Famara beach, This playa on the Northwest of Lanzarote, usually during low tide hours for better safety. 6 Km sandy beach.
To initiate yourself on this magnificent sport you don't need to be "extremely fit". It is a very easy sport to learn. With the IKO teaching programms you'll learn in a fast and safe way...
Kitesurfing combines the adrenalin and technics of surf, windsurf and wake boarding turning it into one of the most spetacular water sports known. Kitesurf, surf and windsurf look hard to lear but in reality are very easy. Most technics can be simulated on the beach and with a proper training program you'll get the basics in just a few days...

With the 4 days course (Kite Camp package - 4 days), beginners will be self suficient and ready to free ride...
in full safety not only for them but for the others also.
You'll learn the basic about setting up your own gear, and free ride... always depending on the learning capacity of each own... The kitesurf school is a FKI oficial kite centre with all instructors level 2 certifications I.K.O
