CALIMA KITESURFING organizes kite camps for beginners, intermediate and advanced in Lanzarote, Canaries.
 If you wish to combine your surfing holidays with a kitesurf course or do the complete kite course with FKI certification we have designed several packages for you.
These packages include accommodation in "Caleta de Famara" (inside Famara Natural Park) away from mass tourism and 100m from the beautifull beach of Famara (6km of fine sand). You can enjoy a great surfing holiday in confort, surfing and kiting in the crystal warm waters of Lanzarote.
 The lessons are given in Famara beach usually during low tide hours for better safety.
6 Km sandy beach
To initiate yourself on this magnificent sport you don't need to be "extremely fit". It is a very easy sport to learn. With the FKI teaching programms you'll learn in a fast and safe way...
 Kite surfing combines the adrenalin and technics of surf, windsurf and wake boarding turning it into one of the most spetacular water sports known. Kitesurf, surf and windsurf look hard to lear but in reality are very easy. Most technics can be simulated on the beach and with a proper training program you'll get the basics in just a few days...
 Security and prevention- Theory and practice of flight technics and control
- Security and prevention in the water
- Try to ride upwind
- Kite lifting - how to raise the kite from the water
- Transfers - Experiencing fully the power of the kite in the water and how it influences your movements
- Water start - This is when you lear how to control the kite movements, position, board speed and kite control so you feel safe in the water...
The kite school has last generation CABRINHA, Takoon kites and SEFON boards, wetsuits and all material necessary. Also a Zodiac for when conditions require.
With the 4 days kitesurf course (Kite Camp package - 4 days), beginners will be self suficient and ready to free ride... in full safety not only for them but for the others also.
You'll learn the basic about setting up your own gear, and free ride... always depending on the learning capacity of each own...
The kitesurf school is a FKI oficial kite center with Iko instructors
Classes are in English, Italian or Spanish.

THE KITE BOARDING CAMP, is combined with our surf program. Depending on weather conditions in just a few days you can initiate yourself in these two wonderfull sports . This camp is for beginners in both sports... Days that wind conditions are not favorable for Kite you can participate in surf school without any additional cost.

INTERMEDIATED LEVEL COURSE
This course is for all those that have completed a begginers course and for some reason don't practice regularly or feel in need of more lessons... so you feel safeer kiting on your own...
This level is for those that fully completed all the steps of FKI level 1 or are presently doing FKI Level 2.
This course covers all the exercises from "body drag" onwards... It's fundamental that you know how to water start and have completed all the beach exercises, having absolute control over the kite.

ADVANCED
This course is for all free riders that have their own equipment and do their own water-starts, but don't ride that regularly or still want some training ...
In this course you'll improve:
- Body position
- constant power control with the kite & kite movement on both parts of the wind window techniques
- Edging control. Methods to increase or decrease the power by edging
- Switch of direction withouth loosing the power
- And first jumps...
This course is for those that completed all steps of levels 1 and 2 of FKI
In order to enroll in this course is pre-requisit to know how to water-start, water rescue technics, absolute control on breaking and self autonomy to deal with the kite and board, in and out of the water.

LANZAROTE PARADISE
COURSES ONLY
Our Kite school organizes daily pick up/drop off of clients from any hotel/apartments in Costa Teguise, Puerto del Carmen, Puerto Calero and Arrecife areas, for a minimum of 2 persons. You can also rent kite surf equipment after completing your training.
BASIC COURSE FOR BEGINNERS KITERS
This course is ideal for all those that never had contact with the sport and wish to start from zero.
The objective of this basic course is to learn all the safety procedures and full control of the kite both inside and outside the water. Upon completition of the basic course you will be able to do the "body dragging" (slide on water being pulled by the kite - without board). This manouver is essencial for safety reasons in case one should loose the board once kiting in order to get to shore.
BASIC KITE COURSE FOR BEGINNERS (2 DAYS) INCLUDES:
 Transport Hotel - Kite surf spots - Hotel (Min. 2 persons) - 2 Days of Kite Surf School - 6 h (3h/day)
