SURFING HOLIDAYS Lanzarote - FamaraWinter camps (October to June) The Canaries are known throughout Europe for their pleasant climate of 20º to 23º in the winter, which allows for outdoor sports all year round, and for the wide offering of leisure activities—tourism and for its spectacular waves which break frequently between the months of October and April. Autumn has the best weather in Lanzarote and in the Canaries in general. It’s when the trade winds end and the northeastern winds stop blowing with intensity, and squalls start to form which tend to send us big, perfect waves and generally with soft offshore winds. Here is where the Atlantic Ocean starts to work. The winter camps are recommended for surfers of all levels (beginner, intermediate, and advanced). For the beginners, we have the spectacular sand beach of Famara that gets good little waves all year. And if you are an experienced surfer, without a doubt, the winter camps are perfect for you, and we recommend that you travel to Lanzarote in the season up to the end of April. From the 8th of January, we begin organizing the winter camps in Lanzarote (Famara) until the 30th of May when we expand the quality of our services including extra activities in the afternoon (free surfing, beach volleyball, Canarian boules, football, excursions around the area of Famara (the volcanoes of Soo and the Cliffs of Famara) mountain biking. We will choose activitities depending on the weather.

Our surf instructors, certified by the “British Surfing Association” (BSA) and "Brazilian Surf Federation", guarantee that in 25 hours you’ll be surfing. You’ll learn all the safety measures necessary to the practice safely this wonderful sport, the sea cycle, tides, currents, rips, weather, bottoms, etc., all the requisites for your near future free surf...All this in maximum safety. Our surf instructors certified by the British Surfing Association and the Brazilian Surfing Federation will evaluate your skills and supervise your training, advising or correcting whatever is necessary to improve your surf. You’ll rapidly improve and develop your surf learning new tricks… All this in maximum safety. Our instructors are certified beach lifeguards. In this level we'll help you perfect your style, help you with all the "bad habits" aquired throught out your free surfing days. You'll learn how to duck dive correctly, manouver correctly, the bottom turn, cut back... nad a lot more. This courses take place at the same beaches and shedule as level one courses. 1 WEEK OF SURF CAMP INCLUDES:

150 € per person NIVEL 3 – ADVANCED SURFERS (SURFARI) Don’t waste time searching for good waves. With us you will surf the best waves for the day no matter where they are located in the island. Bring your own material. The Surfaris are for advanced experienced surfers… If you think you are ready to surf in shallow reef breaks… this is the level for you… Bring your own gear, it is not included. You’ll be guided by the knowledge acquired by our team for the past 20 years surfing all around the world. Our expert guides will take you to the best waves of the day… no mater where they are on the isle. They will tell you all about the spots: how to get in and out, the currents, type of wave, etc. They’ll join you surfing and help you to choose the waves appropriate for you to improve your skills. You’ll learn how to “behave” in the water, respecting the locals, knowing the priority rule and learning how to avoid conflicts which undoubtedly will be useful in future surf trips anywhere in the world.
