KITE SURF IN GRAN CANARIA
(Playa del Ingles)
CALIMASURF organizes kite camps for begginners, intermediate and advanced kite surfers in Gran Canaria and Lanzarote, Canarias.
 The kite surf courses in Gran Canaria take place at "Playa del Ingles" beach although sometimes (according to conditions) can move to "Jinamar beach" or "San Augustin beach".
The kite school will pick up/drop off clients from any hotel inside the San Agustín, Playa del Ingles, Maspalomas or Melonera areas.
Kite courses have a maximum of 8 students in each session, being one in the morning and another in the afternoon.
To initiate yourself on this magnificent sport you don't need to be "extremely fit". It is a very easy sport to learn. With our teaching programms you'll learn in a fast and safe way...

 This course is for all those that completed a begginers course and for some reason don't practice regularly or feel in need of more lessons... so you feel safeer kiting on your own...
This course covers all the exercises from "body drag" onwards... It's fundamental that you know how to water start and have completed all the beach exercises, having absolute control over the kite.

ADVANCED KITE SURFING COURSES
This course is for all free riders that have their own equipment and do their own water-starts, but don't ride that regularly or still want some training ...
In this course you'll improve:
 Body position - constant power control with the kite & kite movement on both parts of the wind window techniques
- Edging control. Methods to increase or decrease the power by edging
- Switch of direction withouth loosing the power
- And first jumps...
In order to enroll in this course is pre-requisit to know how to water-start, water rescue technics, absolute control on breaking and self autonomy to deal with the kite and board, in and out of the water.
ADVANCED LEVEL KITESURF COURSE INCLUDES :

- Manouvers and jumps

Advanced or expert kiters have the chance to hire accommodation in Play del Ingles (Sea line) or in Maspalomas (Golf course) and practice kitesurf on their own

Our kite school in Gran Canaria is open all year around and we rent kite equipemnt to experienced riders.
Kites "North" - Boards "North and Fanatic"
Rented equipment can be used wherever you wish but you must leave in advance a 150€ deposit.

KITE SURF SCHOOL IN GRAN CANARIA
 Kitesurfing combines the adrenalin and technics of surf, windsurf and wake boarding turning it into one of the most spetacular water sports known. Kitesurf, surf and windsurf look hard to lear but in reality are very easy. Most technics can be simulated on the beach and with a proper training program you'll get the basics in just a few days...

- Kite lifting - how to raise the kite from the water
- Transfers - Experiencing fully the power of the kite in the water and how it influences your movements
- Water start - This is when you lear how to control the kite movements, position, board speed and kite control so you feel safe in the water...
Classes are in English, Spanish, German or French.
The kite school in Gran Canaria has last generation kites and boards, wetsuits and all material necessary. Also a Zodiac for when conditions require.
TERMS OF SERVICE
IMPORTANT
In the Gran Canaria Kitesurf School classes can be concetrated in less days than predicted, due to wind conditions (lack of wind or extreme conditions). The school agrees to offer alternative activities or issue an BONUS for the hours missed (in case of class cancelation). The BONUS you can trade for other activities (windsurf, diving, kayak) or use them for the next year.
BONUS are personal and valid for 1 year.
A negligent atitude or not following the instructors instructions can lead to cancelation of all activities without refund or resheduling.
*Don't forget sun glasses, sport shoes and lot's of sun block on your trip to Lanzarote.
